The Mission of the FZE Library

The mission of the FZE Library is to create an environment where all students and staff are empowered to learn and grow while upholding the values of equity, engagement, and exploration.
The FZE Library program is based on a student-centered philosophy of growth and discovery. Students are empowered to construct new knowledge, create, share, and collaborate with others using ethical and innovative practices. The FZE Library respects the diversity of its population by providing a safe space for all and a collection featuring print and digital books that provide mirrors for seeing themselves and windows for understanding experiences different from their own. The FZE Library is guided by the following values:

Equity
We provide students with what they need, when they need it. We ensure that diverse perspectives are an integral part of the program.

Engage
Opportunities are available for engaging in inquiry-based processes.

Explore
Curiosity and innovation are celebrated.

Everyone
The library is for all!
